Does your app work with Shopify discounts?

Accepted Answer

Our app is compatible with most types of discounts offered by Shopify.

Firstly, you need to sync Shopify with our app by selecting option "Sync discounts from Shopify" in Settings/Discount feature.

After successful synchronization, you will see a list of discounts that our app can work with when clicking on Detail button. Please note that if the Shopify discounts are automatic discounts, they won't show here as a list of code (you can see they are automatically applied on the cart page or cart draw if our app can combine with them)

At this point, the Shopify discount will function as a discount box in the cart drawer and cart page. You simply need to enter the code there and click on the Apply button.

Important things to note: - Typically, the Shopify discount box appears on the checkout page. However, when applying Orichi discount, the discount box will no longer appear on the checkout page, only on the cart drawer and cart page. This is because we use the draft method to calculate and apply various types of discounts. - Orichi discount may not work with certain specific types of Shopify discounts such as specific country, tagged customer, limt per lifetime, 100% discount,…

Why were my customers be able to bypass the limit product?

Limit Purchase is the feature that allows you to control the quantity of products or the order value that your customers are allowed to make purchase. There are several reasons why the limit may not work, in other words, customers may be able to bypass the limit you have set up. Please follow some quick checks below to see if you have overlooked anything:

Enable embeb app check Verify that the app is installed correctly and enabled in the Shopify Editor so that our app can work properly on your store. You can do that by clicking on the "Enable app embed" button or going to Shopify admin > Themes > Customize > App embed > Turn our app on and please don't forget SAVE button

Dynamic check out buttons One of the most common reasons for the limit being bypassed is the presence of Dynamic checkout buttons on the product page and cart page. According to Shopify regulations, we are not allowed to access the system on the checkout page due to the presence of sensitive customer information. Therefore, our app is required to check the limit on the product page and cart page. Dynamic checkout buttons can allow your customers to go straight to the checkout page without going through the cart drawer or car

How can I customize the discount table?

Accepted Answer

Our discount table usually automatically adjusts according to the theme of the store. However, if you would like to make some additional minor customizations (font size back ground and text color,…), you can change them via the Settings/ Discount table

You can do some basic changes by yourself like customize discount title, select Layout in product page, customize the first table row and the discount table. However, for more complex changes such as adding/removing elements (rows, columns, text), changing the position of the discount table on the product page, displaying the table on the homepage,.. or any other options you can't find in the settings, please contact us and we will assist you promptly.

Why is the discount not appearing on my product page?

There could be several reasons why the discount table is not appearing on your product page. Please perform the following checks:

First, please check if you have enabled embed app in the Shopify Editor so that our app can work properly on your store. You can do that by clicking on the "Enable app embed" button or going to Shopify admin > Themes > Customize > App embed > Turn our app on and please don't forget SAVE button

Verify if you have disabled the "Show discount in product page" feature in the Settings/ Discount feature.

Check the campaign discount start date in the campaign editing section. Some people forgot to select date or set the start date to a future date.

Check if you have successfully selected the product/collection to apply the discount. People often forget to press Enter after selecting the product.

How can I change the alert pop-up?

The alert and alert pop-ups will appear on the product page, cart drawer and cart page when you use the Limit purchase feature of the app. The alerts can include notifications such as informing customers that they have reached the desired quantity in their cart or that the quantity does not meet the limit. Typically, our app operates in the language of Shopify. However, if you want to customize the alert, change the wording to fit your needs, you can follow the instructions below:

When the order doesn’t meet the rules, the button “Check-out" will turn to "Order is not valid". To change the text “Check-out", please go to Settings/ Limit order. You can also change the color of background and text.
