Importo: How to Set Up the Amazon Buy Button in Your Shopify Store

The Amazon Buy Button allows you to display a direct link to Amazon products on your Shopify store. This is especially useful if you are an Amazon affiliate and want to monetize your product pages with affiliate links.

Follow the steps below to enable and configure the Amazon Buy Button.

Step 1: Enable the App Embed in Your Theme

1. In your Shopify admin, go to Online Store > Themes.
2. Click Customize next to the theme you want to edit.
3. In the theme editor, open the App embeds panel from the left sidebar.
4. Locate the app embed named “A”.
5. Toggle the switch to enable it, then click Save.

⚠️ The Buy Button will not display until the app embed is enabled and saved in your theme.

Step 2: Configure Button Text and Affiliate ID

1. From your app settings, enter your Amazon Affiliate ID.

• • Example: if you havetag=Orichi as your Amazon Affiliate ID, you can enter Orichi.

2. Customize the button text to match your store’s style or tone. Common examples include:

  • Shop Now

Step 3: Save and Test

1. Click Save after updating your settings.
2. Open one of your product pages in your store to verify that the Amazon Buy Button appears.
3. Click the button to confirm that it redirects correctly to the Amazon product page with your affiliate ID applied.
